Hi, I'm Darren.

I'm a learner. I create with software. I enjoy making new things that make people's lives easier, allow businesses to do things that weren't previously possible, or that showcase how software can change how we think about our world.

Most of my software experience is developing applications that are capable of scaling easily with a growing business. I've done this by focusing on application design and maintainability.

Since the pandemic, I've gotten into amateur (ham) radio and I've learned functional programming with F#.

This site is an area for me to play and experiment with software, radio, and anything else that catches my eye. I try to share what I learn as much as possible through GitHub and my blog.
